Delighted for him. Irish mother played for Ireland. Ghanaian father and now manager of Ghana assuming it’s happening. If he gets them to the World Cup if would be a unique achievement having been in the 1990 squad.

On a side note I didn’t know he had a brother who played for our u21s.

Didn’t know that. His son Cian played some underage for us.

Yeah, Henry Hughton iirc. Had a decent career in the lower leagues.

On the punditry team today for Brentford vs Burnley on Supersport SA. He’s a ringer for Gus Fring of Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul fame.

He's getting paid well to supervise with Ghana so doubt he'd walk from that unless his contract is up.

I wonder in the back of his mind would he have 1 eye on getting the Ireland job after Kenny? Or would he be arsed about managing Ireland especially.?

He hasn't sounded particularly arsed about it any time he's been asked, not that he should be under consideration given the way his managerial career has progressed.
