I wasn't at the last game in Georgia, was wondering what were the locals like towards us both in the city on the days before and after the match and in the stadium?

They wouldn't have been that friendly at all. Don't think they are too fond of 'outsiders'
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

I found them fine tbh both in the city and around the stadium before and after. No complaints really bar the taxi drivers...which is a world wide issue.

Yeah, not unfriendly, just reserved, and basically no English.

Taxi drivers mad but not as mad as Astana (although in Astana they weren't taxi drivers so much as recently escaped asylum lunatics with a death wish and a need for speed).

Just for the  energetic crew, we have ZUMBA on Saturday morning in Betsy's. MAMIL's and wannabee's can show up after a few days of debauchery, lycra shorts etc. to show the local ladies what real men you are. Our own lovely ladies who travel away, have nothing to fear.

SD, no replies to this one please, your wisdom is needed on more important matters, but maybe you can assess the response from the locals.

Attention GS>  A column/photo of our illustrious Zumba squad might make good reading.   LOLLOL

Myself, a walk/trek or white water rafting has no implecationsEmbarrassed

How come you didn't go with the LH option? It's a little less.

The long layovers and the early morning flights might be an issue, I suppose.

Went for Turkish over Lufthansa due to the better times. landing in Tbilisi at 11 appeals more then the middle of the night. Difference in price was only €40. I see Lufthansa is €385 now.
