Taylor picked Gordon Cowans ahead of Gascoigne for game against us in late 1990. And Robson picked Webb instead of Hoddle against us in '88. Says it all really, Victorian values and all that bollix.....

absolutely loved Gazza the footballer,thought the recent documentary was excellent. The 2 deaths of children that were mentioned in it must have played some part in his troubled life

He was a very talented footballer and he dragged that Spurs team to the FA cup final in 91. Without his goals they wouldn't have been there. He was a brilliant footballer and an entertainer on the pitch. His best days were with Tottenham. He's now a very troubled man with plenty of regrets I would say.
I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.
