Seamas Coleman, with considerable help from Phil Neville (pains me to say!) marked him out of the game a few weeks ago though.

And he can't get a game for IrelandConfused

One game,  Bale has been unreal for the last 6 months. He had just played the game of his life 3 days before that in Milan.   Do not judge a player on one game, his form over the last few months has been unreal.

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Ah I know he can't set the place alight every week. But a nice feather in Colemans cap I'm sure to have helped keep him quiet for the day.
