There must be some good sh*t going around Galway at the moment!

To be fair to Jim, he's done a lot of the UEFA coaching badges I believe and spent time as assistant manager at Beijing in the Chinese Super League.
Might just be a good appointment for himself and Galway if it did come off.

Don't you need a Pro licence or be on the course to take a job in the league full time? McGuinness only completed his A licence this year and must wait 12 months I think before he can go for his pro licence.

Galway should be going all out to get Harry Kenny, said it on the Grewstest League in the World podcast that he wants to get back into managemnt.

Still stands that what happens if the club get promoted. Still believe Galway should be looking at experience in Harry Kenny rather than someone like Jim McGuinness.

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

With no money yet and the Saudis not likely to be in charge until the transfer window is closed its probably best to let the lads in charge for the rest of the season and then the Saudis can make what changes they want in the off season once they take control of the club. The big worry then would be who they might bring in, could be someone with experience like a Harry Kenny, could be someone new like Jim McGuiness or some lad from Saudi Arabia.

This was inevitable unfortunately.
There was no sign of any progress under Murphy.

Ya they were the better team ,just a clumsy challenge for the penalty and then not clinical enough up top with the amount of chances they had.

Writing was on the wall with Murphy, just was not getting the performance from what i think is a very strong first division squad. Would love to get Ollie back to Galway from Harps but cant see it happening, Tommy Barrett would be my next choice after that.
