My 5 year old daughter has been in a Gaelscoil for just over a year now and chats away as Gaeilge to my sister no bother. It's incredible how easily kids can pick it up when they're submerged in that environment
I tried going back a few years ago to do some classes but I really struggled. I've always been brutal at Irish

There are some cracking translations from Irish to English.
Wales is An Bhreatain Bheag which literally translates as little Britain. Rat is Francach which literal translation is Frenchman
