That’s the word anyway.
Interesting.

In Cork it's Senior 28 Stand, Intermediate 18 stand, junior 12 stand. Each club also gets two terrace tickets. A senior hurling and football club will get 56 stand tickets and 4 terrace tickets. A few more clubs in Cork I suppose.

In fairness Cork also gave tickets to season ticket holders from 2020 and 2021. These numbers would be separate to the allocation

They really should have let a full house attend today. No reason not to have 80k vaccinated people there.

GAA are in no position to give out in relation to other sports or entertainment industry. Tiny numbers allowed at gigs and LOI games, so 40,000 in Croke Park today is huge in comparison.

GAA isn't giving out, it's every fan in the country that wants more people at games, regardless of codes.

The GAA fans are at the top of the Q when it comes to attending events for some reason.  As I said those who go to gigs or LOI games or many other sports are much further back.

Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Listen, GAA even more so than rugby is THE establishment game. Politicians fall over themselves to get a toe in that door, garner funds for the local club or county teams and you will increase your vote massively.why do you think Bertie the perfidious was seen at BIG matches , all Ireland semis and finals, involving his “beloved” dubs but invisible otherwise? The GAA deserve massive credit for getting into a position where these snakes can’t do enough for them, but the sports funding net needs to be spread far wider, and sadly won’t be.

Bloody awful today. Felt as bad a mismatch as Ireland 0 Spain 4. If it wasn't an AI final I'd have left a lot earlier.

If you mean I’m bitter about the way LOI football is treated with ignorant contempt by every single government then yeah spot on, got it in one.
I still enjoy hurling , just want a fair shake. Unlikely I know.
