As Dub, I really wanted Mayo to win. They've consistently been the only team to put it up to us the last decade. Their team and supporters deserve a day in the sun. However they can have no complaints. Tyrone were best team in Ireland this year, absolutely no doubt.

I'm happy Sam will be spending the winter up in the 6. It will piss a lot of the right people off 😂

No complaints at all. Tyrone 100% the better team and fully deserving of their victory. Thought we had more than enough of the ball and goal chances to win the game but just plain didn't perform. Tyrone did and all credit to them. Worthy champions.

On a side note despite all the hate they seem to get, had absolutely zero issues with their fans before or after the game. Pretty magnanimous bunch the one's I came across at any rate.

Always enjoyed heading to Omagh for league games. Never had an issue with Tyrone fans and we have many plenty of times over the years!

Does anyone know how many times Mayo were bookies favourites in the eleven finals they've lost? Was it basically just 1996 and this year?

I wouldn't be so sure about 96. Think we may have been in 97. That would have been it up until this year.

Wouldn't it have been brilliant if Mayo did it this year and brought the cup to his house. Would have been a great story. Sadly it's not to be.

Yet again we will have new winners in the Tyrone Club championship, unbelievable how it has not been defended in 16 years or so. Serious crowd last night as defending champions Dungannon got knocked out. Straight knockout without second chances and round robin is the only way

The entire FBD league should be played in it every year. Would be good for player welfare too not playing on boggy pitches in the freezing cold.

Is it full pitch dimensions? Is it silly high or do balls hit off the roof?

Perfect playing conditions wont suit any counties out west.

But seriously it's a great idea and fair play to the people championing it. Regarding the pitch size, same as McHale park I believe and no issues with high balls. Looks a class facility. https://connachtgaa.ie/air-dome/
