brolly says anything - the man went on a tirade about Gallagher being the manager and was the first fan onto the pitch celebrating their first Ulster

think you can have criticisms of how Harte has gone about things, sort of like O'Connor leaving Kildare a few years back, but a manager from a neighbouring/rival county isn't exactly the end of the world.

weird one for Derry I think. They're knocking on the door of an All-Ireland and I don't really know if Harte is the best appointment to push that on. Needless to say I wasn't a huge fan of them under Gallagher but was cheering for them this summer, but now? Not a feckin hope LOLLOL

No
Only asking as he won AI titles with Tyrone and took Louth from Div 4 to one win away from Div 1 in consecutive seasons. Proven record of success.

Why do ye think it's a strange one? Because he's from Tyrone or because he's not the best manager?

Derry have all the pieces to win an AI, just need the manager. Harte has bee successful wherever he went, always raised players a level. I think it's perfect for them and he'll have them right in contention for the AI
