This is outrageous when you think about it. Her whole platform is that "foreigners" should abide by French customs when they're visiting or living in France but she wouldn't adopt Lebanese customs when visiting there. Pure racism and nothing else.

Her whole reason for going out there was that French secular values should be reinstated, why the f**k it is any of her business when she is constantly highlighting the behaviour of minorities in her own country is hypocrisy alright though.
She is complete scum.

French customs don't involve forcing people to wear things.

yeh happy days for macron. sorta stagnated in the last couple of weeks and all of the recent talk has been centred on le pen. bayrou has run in the last three presidential elections, and they reckon his voters account for maybe 6/7%

surprised not more has been made about le pen being a right old hypocrite. her state visit to Lebanon, she was asked to wear a veil to which she declined. considering the fact that she demands muslims and other immigrants to abide by French law when in france, surely she should abide by law when in Lebanon.

It's not mandatory in Lebanon though? Also, She met the biggest Sunni cleric in the country on the same day and he never requested her to wear the veil.

It boils down to 2 awkward stubborn f**kers having digs at each other.

sorry my bad, she was asked whilst in Lebanon, to wear the veil when meeting the biggest Sunni cleric. but her refusing regardless of law in Lebanon doesn't take away from being a hypocrite as it is still a cultural thing to wear a veil in Lebanon. not sure why any muslim leader would agree to meet with her considering her and her party's anti-immigrant stance

and her comment that she was making a stance for the females of france is laughable. feminist groups over here despise her and that nothing within her presidential campaign proposes more equality across sexes.

Big week regarding the EU this week..

Brexit Article 50 expected to start on Monday Night / Into Tuesday. Then you have Dutch Elections on Wednesday with Geert Wilders massively leading the polls, although not expected to win a majority resulting into another hung parliament - But should he win a majority, we'll be having Nedxit next.
