It should be a good a reason as any. The same would have applied had he been against Melenchon.
Equating Melenchon with Le Pen is fooking nonsense and a desperate cheap shot.

Anyway, FOAD Le Pen, the vile, Vichy-loving fascist boot.

I couldn't be bothered wasting any more words on her.

What you're implying is not what I meant, and you know that. You know full well that I was saying that Melechon on the far left is the polar opposite of Le Pen, but that brings his ideological politics with him, which would drive some voters into the hands of Macron as a centrist. There is no "shot", just a statement that moderates and centrists were likely to deem him to far to the left to be given a scratch.

And LD, his politics are much different to Le Pen's, so stop talking crap.

Edited LD's post after complaints received about the racist nature of it.

Just take it as a warning and we all move on.

Macrons biggest voting blocks were with the 60-70 year olds and 70+

The same age voting block that were castigated for voting Brexit and betraying the youth.

Right you are aware France and Britain are two separate countries.

A lot of those 70+s would have experience or have family members who experienced living under facism.
