Hello again lads and lasses. You might remember I was asking aboot coaching a while back.

Well I got 'the call' from the chairman tonight. I'll be coaching an Under 16 A team.

This being a tough starting point, I'd love it, if any of you have experience in coaching, would give me some advice or tips on the subject via this thread or PM.

Thanks in advance lads Thumbs%20Up

Sure, just think, after one season you'll have more experience than Steve Staunton had when he got the call from John Delaney!

I led an U12s team to shield victory in the Ballybrack mini world cup in 2002. I was just an inspirational figure. We had one lad who was so much better than everyone else so i let him away with murder and the rest did the doggy work. Feed the ego of the talented players and they will reward you

He's retired and associates with pillars of society like myself. Was in the same class in school as Jake Kelly (bray) and Jay O'Shea and just as good as them. But when he started to drink he started to associate with his uncle and his scumbag friends
