UEFA B is a totally different animal to the Youth Cert from what Ive been told. That's why they've brought in the D and C Licenses to bridge the gap.

Can you send me a on link please pal?

Was the conversion piss easy or difficult? Not that I'd be worried either way as I'd be extremely confident of passing the UEFA B at this stage with all my experience.

On the new pathway what is 'youth intro' as have only done KS 1 and 2, 4v4, 7v7 and S&C courses so far?

As far as Im aware Youth intro is PDP 3 which is aimed at 15-18yrs old and would count towards your 40 hours required to do a D Licence.

On the new pathway it is not linear and you can enter at age specific course, so if you are training 9-12 year old you do not need Kick start 1/PDP 1 beforehand

No you will need to do a conversion course for a C Licence then apply for Uefa B - there is one on in Waterford end of January

Yeah Youth Cert is extinct as of Jan 1st  - as said previously if you have one - do a conversion course for a C licence.

New D licence involves a coach completing 40 hours worth of grass roots courses PDP(Kick Start) 1-4 workshops etc and then a 1 day course to get on Licenced pathway. Im encouraged by this new pathway although it can be costly, we quality as well as a quantity of coaches in the country.

If you have done the Youth Cert previously you have a year to do a 1 day conversion for the new National C Licence.
From 2017, there will be a D licence (after your workshops), C licence then the UEFA B.
I just done the C licence the weekend (bit more intense apparently then the Youth Cert) and I can see why they're bringing in another layer. There were lads on that course completely out of their depth.
With the introduction of the new U15 National League, the expectation is that UEFA B will be a minimum for a Head Coach/Mgr of that team, St Pats already advertised as such.
U17 UEFA B and u19 a UEFA A is what the good Dokter is looking at.
