Yeah read it yesterday and just listened to the podcast this morning. He went full circle basically. Nothing about the GAA after turning into a near year-round thing nowadays with all the floodlit/cross border underage competitions currently on the go.

No mate, I think that's been on going since October of last year or so!

Been up in Dublin the past 2 days (still 1 day to go on this block) between the AUL, Carlton Hotel and Abbotstown on the UEFA B Licence.

12 hour days, very tiring but fantastic.

Highly recommend it to any aspiring coach.

I got accepted this morning, thank f**k as it would of been my own fault in regard to my application if I didn't.

@BSM, if I pass the UEFA B, I will then try and do my UEFA A and the dream is the pro-licence.

I was offered a few jobs in America, but I want go down a full time route (summer work isn't worth a crap to a 28 year old who has a full time job)

If per say in 4/5 years time a chance to work full time coaching/management in Asia, North American or the back arse of Europe came along I'll definitely try it out anyway.

But i'm being realistic too, if nothing in the professional game crops up then so be it. Once I keep improving as a coach/manager and even if I end up staying in Carlow so be it.

Not naming the player or club.

I was at the first session and saw what was on view, some tasty players alright but this lad shone more than anyone and has been doing it for 2 years in the top division. Ive watched probably 20/30 games he's played in against all the top teams. A friend of mine who was an academy coach at Man Utd watched a game he played against the Orchard and he told me there was only one player on the pitch.

He goes to school with these players from Orchard and Crumlin who have been told to tell him that he will not get anywhere staying with his current club. We also have two more players on these 'trials' and one of them should also be included.

The DDSL are denying that the training match took place last night despite photos appearing on Facebook of the 4 Crumlin players in DDSL jerseys.

We're just waiting now for the free cars and holidays to be offered......

Who exactly is the best u11 player because I have worked closely with 1 lad who is in the squad. He is excellent. And I know another lad with huge talent in it.
But your right ,them squads are farcical. It was the same with last years 11s and is the same with this years 12s. Numerous players involved who shouldn't be anywhere near the squad.

FAI/DDSL Elite Performance Squad for u11s.

Usual bullsh*t, every club in A and A1 sends 3 (THREE) players for trials.

After a few weeks the squad consists of 4 (FOUR) players from both Crumlin and Cherry Orchard and more from Kevins and Leixlip. Guess who the managers are !!!!

The best player by a country mile in Dublin at u11 has NOT been selected.

This is because he does not play for the above mentioned teams and they have all been trying to poach him for the past six months using all means imaginable, bordering on harrasement.

"Sign for us and we'll cap ya" is still going strong 30 years down the road.

Well done Dr. Oetker and the NEW SHINY FAI Player Pathway.
