   i must say that as a man raised a catholic (i was an alter boy as a child - when you think about it my parents unwittingly out me in danger)i despise the organisation. the power they had in this country, the abuse of power, the wealth acquired and the hypocrisy. if i was in charge i would nationalise �4 billion worth of their assets, get rid of any influence they have in school and hang every last one of the bastards involved in abuse of children.

i went to a christian brother school and there was a teacher (non clergy) who committed suicide after being found out for abusing kids. the brothers held a mass in his honour during school hours attended by every child in the school. it was a disgrace
