jaysus RTE wouldn't put it up if it wasn't happening, obviously planned. I like ryan tubridy much better anyway. Actually i don't hate him at all. Although in fairness to the plank his radio show is pretty good. Just probably under so much instructions and presure with the Late Late

Despite the fact he's a bellend I'd like to see Tubridy takeover as he seems to be able to attract  decent guests on to his own show at the moment comapared to the Late Late  and he'd be much better than Gerry Ryan Angry

"Well i hope you enjoed the show" (comedian shouts "don't give up your day job") Pat says "I won't be giving up my day job and won't be giving up this for quite a few weeks but I will be doing another night show then". Sounds like he was sacked from the late late show
