Anyone any idea how much the Irish players get nowadays for pulling on the Green shirt?

We'll never die, we'll never die, we'll keep the Green Flag flying high......Shamrock Rovers will never die, we'll keep the Green Flag Flying high. 19 Leagues and 25 Cups.....

I read somewhere that England players get paid more or less their club wages and a bit more, unsure about Irish players but again remember hearing something that its a couple of g's (4-5) + expenses.
Could have been part of a dream so dont quote me on that Smile

If england players are donating at least 2.36 million over the next 3 years, say a squad of 22 with say 20 games over the 3 years, its about 5 1/2 grand each, but they are defo on more than this.
Then again the FA in england are one fo the richest around, as remember the michael owen/newcastle case where the geordies were looking to get payment for players if they are injured on international duty and if this set a precedent most countries fa's would be goosed.

Not really sure about the Irish team, but reckon around the same?
