I'd love to see a decent atmosphere for the Bulgaria game, being a Sat night under the floodlights etc.

Anyone any idea what the attendance is expected to be?

At a guess, I'd say 65,000 maybe?

I don't think it will be full either unfortunately.

I can't wait to get back to Lansdowne to be honest.

Yes it will be nice to have a proper home venue again. Croke Park is a great stadium (but not suited to the beautiful game) but much prefer Lansdowne Road or whatever they are calling it now. Think we would be doing very well to get 65,000 in. Although with the feel good factor about Irish sport at the moment who knows! Might encourage people to show up. Think the FAI could drop ticket prices by about 10 euro to try and ensure the place is full.

Totally agree Tuff Paddy. The irony is that they could drop prices and increase sales and not take a big drop in receipts for the game. Fair enough they have to pay the GAA and they need the money for the new stadium etc but bigger crowd can only add to the atmosphere, give the team a boost, hopefully increase our chances of qualifying and therefore make more money for the FAI!

Agree with the points made on ticket prices, the FAI should realise the country is in a recession and reduce prices accordingly ffs.  If they were priced at say 25 Euro then we would probably see a full house at Croker, which would be nice.

The GAA aren't half putting the hand into them mind with their going rate to use the stadium.

As I said already, the sooner we get back to Lansdowne the better.

I have to disagree with you there. After the FAI pay the GAA for the use of the stadium they still male near double what they did from a fixture in Lansdowne.

The GAA aren't the problem here, the FAI are. They shouldn't be allowed make any more money from hosting a game in croker than they did in Lansdowne.....ie cheaper tickets.

I think we will be paying through the nose for tickets in lansdowne but at least we will have a full house for competitive games. It would be a nice gesture by the FAI if they at least dropped prices for the reamining Croke park games

The FA and I think the SFA have reduced ticket prices and our crowd shoulda poxy done it too.  I reckon it'll be nearer capacity than the Georgia game but there'll still be too many empty seats for my liking.  I think Delaney was on the radio yesterday about the Vantage Club........anyone hear it?  Not selling (surprise surprise)........

We'll never die, we'll never die, we'll keep the Green Flag flying high......Shamrock Rovers will never die, we'll keep the Green Flag Flying high. 19 Leagues and 25 Cups.....

Rugby fans have still have jobs and drive solid gold rocket cars. They also only play 2/3 big home games a year. As far as I know the IRFU drop the prices for frendlies when their playing a lesser team.
