Kelleher vs Bazunu for the current No.1 jersey is a good topic of discussion since Kellehers recent run of games/form. Does the consensus seem to be edging more in favour of Kelleher now? The group chats I'm on seem to be pretty much split down the middle...

I'd be happy starting either. Next question?

I'd be of the same thinking as an argument can be made for both. Don't have another question, but will come back to you if I do..

I'd give them a friendly each coming up and probably do the same in June.

Converstation can be had proper in September if Caoimhin is a #1 somewhere. If he's still picking splinters out and warming Alisson up then it's Bazunu.

I would have previously chosen Bazunu but now I would choose Kelleher.

2 very capable goal keepers - not too much difference between the 2. Kelleher's distribution is a lot better.

As par can't vote but would go for the both capable option.

I think it depends who is starting and playing well.

As people say come September and competitive matches it can be looked into.

I think for March games I'd like to see both given time even perhaps call up 4 keepers and give them each 45 minutes

Yeah, friendly each in march and June and see the situation come September. I wish we had this issue in any other area of the pitch though Cry

I was Bazunu until a few weeks ago, but you can't ignore Kelleher's recent performances. He's been brilliant

Where is planning when you need him?

It's Kelleher for me, always thought he'd go on to be our no. 1 eventually

Kelleher at the moment. However, when his is sitting on the bench for any prolonged spell, would be going with Baz.

Kelleher last night:

28/42 passes completed (67%)
6/19 long balls completed (31.5%)

Bazunu vs Birmingham:

51/54 passes completed (94%)
5/8 long balls completed (62.5%)

Kelleher's Premier League stats:

74% passing accuracy
30% long ball accuracy

Kellehers Europa League stats:

82% passing accuracy
49% long ball accuracy

Bazunu's Championship stats:

85% passing accuracy
49% long ball accuracy

Kelleher is better shot stopper than Bazunu. He's not better on the ball.

Interesting.

It doesn't come across like that to my eyes.

I didn't think Bazunu's distribution was that good.

At the moment Kelleher deserves a shot in the two upcoming games, but by the time the next lot of games come around in the summer he'll be back on the bench for Liverpool and Bazunu will likely come back in.

Theyll both get a game during the friendlies coming up and in the summer. For the england game it will depend on their situations, hopefully both are starting in the premiership at the time.

Undecided at the minute. .

For all Kelleher's good moments, he has had a few incidents where I have felt "he was lucky there".
But Bazunu also makes me very nervous at times.

For the friendlies, I'd definitely go with one game each.

Last night was exactly that.

I think a game each is fair. The next manager will probably then settle on one.
