What's made up?
I remember talking to my dad before the referendum and mentioned the immigration concern re potentional family definition and couldn't understand how it wasn't such a big deal. Like people already try take the mickey re dependant family members re eu treaty rights.
The fact that this advise was given and the main parties still tried to plough through the yes vote without divulging all the advise they were given is scary!! What's even scarier is that the main stream media aren't going to town on it!!

I tried telling my parents also but sadly they voted with the tiny minority. Unfortunately they only use government propaganda platforms like RTE for their information. Showed my mother the comments of the attorney general which the Ditch leaked the night before but sure there was nothing on RTE about that are ye sure it's true?

Yeah the Ukrainian's pad the figures because they've no reason to tear up their identity.
And I probably should have mentioned I'm talking about those landing in Dublin airport. All the boys coming from the UK don't need a passport to drive over the border.

There's more recent stats that newstalk had yesterday too. Can't find them online now, but the stats showed that asylum seekers coming in though UK dwarf what's coming in through the airport at the moment.

When you have the social issues we do and you start attracting Asylum seekers from already safe countries in their droves you're in for a bad time. Just ask Denmark. 250BN in depth, lads ripping up their documents they brought with them to Europe. And people act surprised the vast majority don't want this?
