All the managers in our budget and on our radar carry a good deal of risk imo. No absolute stand out candidate who actually wants the job.

Same here...think its a good appointment.

Same here, but still expect this squad to struggle in the near term regardless of the manager but would still be hopeful...always hopeful Confused

As for the negativity, jasus lads, it's the same windbags and they are a tiny minority but just post the same sh8te over and over.
Just ignore them.

We are too sh*t to get a good manager. A punt is as good as we can hope for.

I'm happy with the choice if it gets announced as happening. I was really against being a last pay day option for a past it manager. A manager who is comfortable with young players is very much needed given the nature of our player pool right now so his U21 experience isn't a negative like some make out. He's also been a coach for quite a while with plenty of experience.

No, he wanted a pay rise from the Greek FA.

Sadly our coaching talent is even worse than our playing talent. Probably a connection when I think about it.so that’s the route we have to go.

Plus one. I think the heavy lifting has been done by Kenny.  Results didn’t come And he had to go. Next manager has a free shot at the World Cup qualifiers and a great chance of qualifying for the euros when the profile of the team will shift to mid 20s.  Nations league performances will be important and I think avoiding relegation has to be the aim.
