Context - TV shows and films are age rated and have watersheds. 
The Eurovision is about representing and being a face for the country.  
There is absolutely no comparison to be made in my opinion. 

No problem with performance art but there is a line.
Eating cake from between your legs by poking your fingers through the cake at the vagina region, rubbing it on breasts and having a candle sticking out of your bum is beyond that line.
