Bazunu
Coleman Omobamidele Egan Collins McClean
Smallbone Cullen Hendrick
Ferguson Obafemi

Is the team I would pick for France, based on tonight. Collins and O'Shea competing for that 3rd CB spot, thought AO looked the most secure of the 3 tonight. I reckon SK agrees and that's why he came off.

Omo miles off the pace tonight won't play vs France imo.

Do you think? I don't think any of the starting 3 covered themselves with glory, but Collins and O'Shea made some sloppy mistakes

I expect to see Marcus Harness come in for Obafemi

Think the back three will be Collins, O'Shea, Egan and think that is the right selection.

Omo is a good player and will play at a high level, but isn't having a great season imo.

Think we’ll get torn apart if we go two up front

Coleman or Doherty?
McClean or O'Dowda?
Browne or Molumby?
Smallbone or Hendrick?

I think these are guaranteed:
Bazunu
Egan
Cullen
Ferguson.

Very likely:
Collins
OShea
Obafemi

Based on experience, and defending against one of the best teams in the world, I'd pick:
Coleman, McClean, Browne and Smallbone of the 4 above.

Resulting in:
Bazunu
Coleman Collins Egan O'Shea McClean
Browne Cullen Smallbone
Obafemi Ferguson

If we want to go 5-3-1-1 we might as well just get MON or Mick back.

Two men who could beat the European giants at home

You're not wrong. If we want to play dark arts football we should have a manager that specialises in it. Kenny cannot organise us defensively.

Molumby for Browne; Smallbone for Obafemi.

I can honestly see Browne being moved to RWB for Monday night rather than Coleman.

People thinking that someone with a bit more pace than Coleman having a better chance against Mbappe are deluding themselves. Mbappe is one of the fastest players ever, we could stick Ogbene on him and he'd still breeze away from him. The best chance to limiting Mbappe's influence is to put our best one-on-one defender on him (that's Coleman) and try to get as much cover behind him as possible.
We're decent enough..

Shane long actually clocked faster speed than mbappe. Maybe play him Rwb
