Anyone book the 10am flight home with Ryanair? I had a look on the app and that flight now takes off at 1pm Sunday. Get a sleep in so I'm not too bothered, odd that they haven't contacted us. Is there a flight law about the reschedule or something ya reckon?
Original take off 10.05am New take off 13:25

EU261: You must receive changes of your flight at least 2 weeks before the departure. If, the departure of the alternative flight is less than 2 hours earlier or the arrival is delayed by less than 4 hours, then no compensation is due.

Don't ask me why I didn't book anything early, I never usually do. Found ok flights price wise but accommodation looks to be a killer. Haven't missed a game yet this campaign but this could be the one

Doesn't matter when the game would have been on, accommodation already sky high. No different comparing it to any other weekend in Amsterdam

November to February would traditionally be the cheapest time for hotels in Amsterdam they can increase for sure in Summer and when big festivals on .

looks like there's a few kips outside of the centre for reasonable enough prices.

Going there on Saturday and yeah our hotel was quite pricey for 4 nights. Nothing booked yet for the November trip.

If you’d an early flight the Sunday morning would you get away with kipping in the airport for a few hours?

Kind of. You'll likely be woken up by the cleaners or the odd security guard checking that you have an early flight though. If you can get airside, there are plenty of decent chairs and benches to lie down.

That's my plan anyway. I've kipped overnight in numerous airports at this stage (Amsterdam included) and never had any hassle.

Yeah I’ve slept in loads of airports too. You’ll be doing well to get airside after the match though. Paris CDG wasn’t great as nothing was open but it was bright and noisy. Seats were uncomfortable too. Athens was really good, food court was open, loads of seats with no arm rests. Not sure if I’ve ever slept in Schipol. Just keep an eye on the weather, it’s no fun trying to sleep in an airport in wet clothes.
