Would love to see the names that may pop up that have ZERO risk attached. If Carsley is willing to come we should be getting him in.

You're entitled to your opinion. The fact is he threw it away with a couple of minutes left by needlessly handling and gifted Turkey the away goal that put them through the tie. That, and the fact that, as much as I like LC, he's follicularly not what you want from a winner. Understandable in older age but he was like that in the 90s as well.

I hope so.
Lab-grown managers are notoriously better than those saps who come outa wombs.

Was just about to to post this.

Jim Goodwin or Michael O'Neill

I think Goodwin wouldn't touch it unfortunately. He's got a budding career going for him, he'd be mad to throw it away to come manage us.

The absolute staff of his Aberdeen side today! Imagine having to watch that type of sh*te set up with Ireland, would make you sick.

Brutal. Imagine going to a home game and seeing your side set up to play like that regardless of who the opposition is.

Didn't see any of the game but you all got me curious, so I looked up the stats.
Chances created: Aberdeen 0, Celtic 26
Possession: Aberdeen 19.5% Celtic 80.5%
Shots: Aberdeen 2 Celtic 33

Nuff said!

Goodwin is useless! Hasn't even managed to be relegated from the Scottish Premier League and sacked after numerous humiliations in the Scottish Championship.

Miles off the standard required to be Irish manager. LOL

Sure he is only playing to Aberdeen's strengths, making them hard to beat and giving them the best chance of getting a result!

Third in the league which is as good as Aberdeen are ever going to get. After the next round of games they’ll have Celtic and Rangers out of the way in the 2nd round of fixtures. Then 5 to go until 22 games played. Some Aberdeen fans may complain about yesterday but a point in the 2 games v the top 2 most would be happy with.
They also have a league cup semi final coming up.

Aberdeen finished 10th last season.

Goodwin is doing a decent job.

He may be doing a good job but I don't think there's many of us that would be happy to set up 11 behind the ball playing for 0-0. There's pragmatism and then there's anti-football. Anti-football won't fly with an Irish crowd anymore.

The Norway performance was anti football.
