I sometimes wonder do players check in on the internet threads about them. Wonder what Cannon would make about this one

He'll be gunning for the Premier League next season, a man who knows how to hit the target, hopefully his career doesn't go up in smoke

On a serious note Everton are in desperate need for a striker who can score with Calvert Lewin hopelessly injury prone.
Definitely a potential gap for him. Like buses you wait for one to bolt from the blue.

Would love to see Everton stay up and Cannon get a shot next season. We need to get him in the squad for June, we don't know if he's harbouring England ambitions. Does anyone his connection to Ireland, possibly a grandparent?

He'd probably have a better chance of game time if Everton went down.

Himself and Simms would almost certainly lead the line if they go down. They might look to cash in on Calvert Lewin and your bound to find one team stupid enough to buy him regardless of injuries. Even if they stay up Everton are in no position to be turning their nose up at him but again this is Everton we are talking about. Signing a young striker showing that potential you must pay big money.
