What's the story with eating to stadium from Albufeira and Faro? Is Faro handier? Went for Portugal game in 2021 but couldn't get a ticket so haven't been to stadium before.

Faro is a lot closer - Just a short ride in a taxi or you could get a train depending on times.
From Albufeira, the last time most people went on hired coaches.

From Faro, there'll be buses put on, across the street from the bus depot. It's a few quid just.

From Albufeira there'll be groups in taxis (about 25-30 quid for a taxi) or last time some of the bars had buses on as well.

You'll be grand with either really is what I've gathered from others.

Personally staying in Albufeira for the few days at the moment, have free cancellation so will see closer the time. October is still in season for the Algarve so Albufeira won't be empty anyway

For the Portugal game in 2021 it took us a while with Uber, but we got there eventually.

the traffic out to the stadium for the last game vs Gibraltar was awful. Took an hour if I remember correctly or maybe longer . A few of the Irish pubs will be running buses which is your best bet
Here we go again, we're on the road again

It'll be a piece of piss if our last game there (September 2015) was anything to go by.

Stadium capacity is about 30k. Attendance for our game was about 5k and most of those were Irish fans. Even their highest attendance in that campaign (v Scotland) was about 12k.
The nation holds it's breath...YES, WE'RE THERE!!!

Anyone who has been to an Ireland game in Faro before - what's usually the best way to get to the match? Do any of the Irish pubs organise coaches to and from the game?
Do ya like Jack Russells, Nidge?
