Hopefully the massive Irish population over in Australia and NZ snap up tickets so we have good support over there.

What time will the matches be on Irish time? I can remember some early starts for the rugby World Cup in New Zealand and obviously 2002.

The US being a big player in this fotball wise and viewing wise, will dictate a lot too, they won't be making it any easier for European viewers

First post on here in years. Living in Melbourne the past four years. Absolutely buzzing for the women. Will go to the Australian based matches at least. Will be massive support in Sydney and Melbourne. Was always a massive contingent of Irish here but really has exploded in the last 6 months with border restrictions lifted.

The groups are divided between Aus and NZ based so I'm hoping they end up in one of the Oz based groups for the support it'd bring.

All the Aus groups seem to have one game in Perth. So could be a late morning or even early afternoon KO our time if we get lucky and are one of the teams to play there

Do you know if you need a code for the pre-sale or is its just a visa card needed at checkout? Going out 14 July to 4 Aug. Any ex pats recommendations for areas to stay in in the 3 cities: Sidney, Perth & Brisbane. Thanks. |

Those tickets will be in neutral areas, why donât you wait until next month when the Irish section tickets go on sale?

Surely it would be a good if Ireland fans bought up as many of the neutral tickets as possible, particularly when we're playing the host nation?

And leave the dedicated Irish section empty or sparsely occupied? It would be much better to have a decent noisy Irish section as opposed to everyone being spread out and I'm sure the team would love it as well.

I get your point. Will be plenty of Irish demand for these tickets given its in Sydney. Maybe the best approach is to share the likes of the neutral application details all over Irish Australian Facebook sites etc. I'm conscious that a lot of the more casual Australian based fans will only look for tickets when it's too late. If they're informed in advance; they might buy them up.
