We were wondering alright why you were referring to a new stadium as looking abandoned. LOL

You are right though, that Algarve Stadium did have an abandoned white elephant look about it when I went there in 2015. Definitely looked like a stadium that had been built for Algarve tourism to get it's pound of flesh out of Portugal hosting Euro 2004.

The plan was for Farenese and Louletano to use it, but they didn't really get the crowds, and now both of them mostly use the small ground in Faro proper.

I’m reluctant to book Athens as they don’t announce their venue until late on. Granted they played all games at AEK last campaign but I just don’t know.

All before the new ground was built.

They could move around again but I'd be surprised if they do

What flights are people taking from Helsinki?

Heading via Berlin with Eurowings on the Friday, stay the night in Berlin and then onto Athens with an airline called Scoot (never heard of them before). Decent enough prices.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

I'm taking the Air Baltic flight to Riga on the 11th and then on to Athens with them on the 12th. Cost €172 which is not bad and accomodation with breakfast in Riga for two people is costing €33, so can't go wrong with that.
just hit the fecking thing

I can see the rationale for those presuming that it'll be Athens but any idea when we might get confirmation of a venue for this?

I think 3 months is the notification that has to be given.
