See you there lads, more than a few regulars in Glyfada. I'm in the Palmyra Beach for 11 nights from the 10th.
Looks a nice place to me. Champions league final on that night.

Air B and B sorted in Athina area.
Where are the meet up points on match day? Stadium is a bit outside the city, so what is itinerary on game day? Is there bars etc in the way to the ground etc etc.. |

Yeah will probably try find somewhere around there the day of the game before heading out to the stadium. Anywhere with ice cold Greek beer will do (doubt we'll get that in the James Joyce)

Staying in the Athens Hub Hostel, seems to be very central - don't know Athens at all.
The James Joyce looks like a good shout for the few days Edited by Mr. Snrub - 30 May 2023 at 11:37am |

No doubt it'll be a grand spot but there'll be better & cheaper local bars around the place. Will pop in for sure anyway while moving around the city Edited by wanderer - 30 May 2023 at 11:49am |

This. We're doing a week and arrive in Athens on the Sunday before the match. We'll probably go to the James Joyce early in the week for a few pints but later in the week I'll be avoiding it in favour of the more local places. |

This is exactly what is going to happen. It's on the metro line anyway.

Along with the fact that it looks fairly small, it'll already be roasting, somewhere local outdoors please. You'll have to provide the early recommendations that week

Some spot called Beertime looks good and opens out on to a bit of a square. Could work for the crowds.
Any danger of a fans game at all?
