Talking about someone way out of his depth. Stephen Kenny is the biggest spoofer of a manager we ever had.

True that.

Ogbene was pretty poor. Us being sh*t didn't help, but still.

This is waaaay worse than the Norway game. I think Kenny has lost me tonight. Im officially thinking about our next manager. The only name that pops into my head is Chris Hughton. Dont know if he would make us better or worse tho.

God no. No, no, no, no. Tonight would be like the Gibraltar games under Mick.

Im not saying i want him but if hes out of work when were looking i assume he would take it.

Evan Almighty on so Kenny can play the "blooding young talent" card later.

At least he's getting a bit longer this time. Probably only because we have no other strikers left though.

Yep, we haven't created a single chance from open play - our goal came from a terrible defensive error. I'd say this is definitely worse than Norway, as we haven't played well at any point in the game.

Hughton is far from the answer. We need a good coach who will still look to play football.

He’s one of the the worst, most inept and ridiculously incompetent people to ever hold a top position in Irish sport, not to mind just football. He may be a nice guy, but he’s an utter amateur at this level.

In fairness a friendly against muck but no excuse for being this bad.
The problem is FAI finances and lack of contenders. Nothing to be done unfortunately

At least they qualified us for tournaments or had us close to doing so. Kenny will have us fighting it out at the bottom with Gibraltar.

And the problem is there have been a lot of performances like this in 2022. Lithuania at home, Armenia away etc.....this is by no means a one off.

If Ireland introduced a fines system and fined players every time they passed the ball backwards, some of the players would have to declare bankruptcy. Ouch

We're brutal and so slow on the changes yet again.
