I think he was just taking time to adapt to a new team. A full pre-season will help him settle in fully.
Only 23yo, plenty more to come from him.

Ya Azaz finished the season well and in good form. He was off the boil there in March for some reason but got back starting again, getting 2 goals and 4 assists in his last five matches. Hopefully we see more of Azaz in the friendlies in June. Also former U-21s player Alex Gilbert started that match for Boro, he got a goal and an assist too. He also got an assist in the last match against Leeds when he came off the bench. Hope Boro can kick on next season with Azaz and Gilbert there, Lenihan too.

A centre-half and gone 4-3-3 or something similar. Was a great opportunity to try it out for situations where we are chasing the game or are the better team against even more minnowy minnows.
