Pros for Kenny: Assembled a young hungry group that is improving Has us playing a decent brand of The players seen to believe in him Negatives for Kenny: Poor results that aren't improving. Three campaigns and failed to beat anyone In game management not great We fail to build any real consistency We seem a little soft mentally not holding leads Our best performances come when pressure is off Edited by Stickittotheman - 24 Sep 2022 at 11:14pm |

Stephen Kenny is such a top manager that was sacked from Shamrock Rovers and they are now the best team in Ireland and playing European group stage football. About as relevant as whatever that nonsense was that you somehow thought sounded good in your head before you posted it. Sometimes things dont work out at clubs. To act like to have a failure on your cv automatically makes someone a bad manager is insanely moronic.

Keeping Kenny for Euros could potentially prevent this group for qualifying for anything. Euros in 24 WC next to impossible to qual Next euros is 2028 Keeping Kenny is an enormous gamble

We've the worst squad of players probably ever, he's doing a good job given the circumstances. If you're old enough to remember AERTEL in the 90s and early 2000s, there'd be Green scorers every weekend in the Premier League. Now we're hoping someone who can't score in the Championship gets us our goals.

Just to be clear, if Kenny resigned tmw, I'd have no particular beef with people putting forward the likes of Hughton or O'Neill as options. Wouldn't be on my list though - Barry, Eusrace, Carsley. I do have a beef with lads putting their name forward right now however, after our last 3 performances, I think it's bizarre tbh! Get behind this exciting young team and manager for the Euros. If it all goes tits up, by all means advocate for Hughton or whomever, but can we not just give it a f**king rest for now!

big sam always gets wheeled out as a replacement to kenny people seem to think our lads are incapable of kicking a football and need and industrial english manager to help us to kick the ball as high and hard as we can. big sam is not the answer.

The results even in the circumstances cannot be considered good. We've lost and drawn to some terrible teams. Tonight's performance was decent. Not many denying that. But we've lost again. We've made our task for the euros much harder with our poor nations league results. Qualification for the euros was supposed to be the target. At some point we have to start winning games. It isnt going to be like turning on a lightbulb, the Euro quals start in a few months and we are all of a sudden going to have to be consistent and getting results to be there or thereabouts. Any time there is a hint of progress we go out and lose. It's so deflating.

And? Hughton failing at Forest doesnt make him a bad manager. Managers can fail at jobs and still be good managers and be good with other teams afterward. You made an utterly moronic point. It's alright.

Do people think that even if we did change manager we would suddenly be winning these games?? Kenny cannot make Parrott score that chance or any of the countless chances we have missed since he took over. We look a real danger on the counter attack now. Just need someone to finish the chances. Easier said than done.

Just what do you think Chris Hughton would to improve that? Wise up and get behind the young lads. Results are the goal, but we are bloodied young lads and with that comes inconsistency. We have just put together 3 very good performances on the bounce against teams whose level we are aspiring to. Baz, Nat, Dara, Jason, Jayson, Troy, Michael all 23 or under, 7 of the starting 11. Dozie and Josh are 25ish. Have some patience ffs! |

No he can’t make parrot score but his changes did hinder us from scoring more this cost us a result and that lies with him. And so far we have in the main no result. Im not saying get rid of him but the alternatives have to be looked at now as now is the right time to change if we are going to change

We usually lose or draw the games where we play poorly and we often lose or draw games that we have done enough to win. The combination of those two things is really not good. There are improvements in our patterns of play. But over nearly 30 games the results have not been good enough and they arent getting much better. That's why it's a very difficult situation. At some point he has to start getting consistent results. Otherwise what the f*ck are we doing?

I think we have a great chance of a generational talent emerging soon, given the sheer quantity of very good young players coming through!
