6 changes in the Arsenal team, although Holding is the only one you’d say significantly weakens it. Being 5 point clear with a game in hand, I can see why the cup would be sacrificed, but beating a strong City would have been a big confidence booster.

Dull game
City upped it after half time and got the goal but overall weren’t anywhere near their best
Hard to see a style of play at times with City this season

Wouldn’t be too confident about the league game at the Emirates after that

Everything looks rosy with Arsenal, a few first teamers rested and they were still as good as City. Sub goal keeper played well. Trossard settled in very quickly. Their recruitment of players has been excellent too.

It would damage this forums' reputation

You’d imagine Arsenal will be confident of taking at least 3 points off City. Certainly a lot closer than they have been in many years. City controlled the game well in the 2nd half though and Arsenal created nothing in the 2nd half.

What's the craic with Tierney? I know he played last night but is he out of favour or what?
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Tierney has been average anytime I have watched him this season! Zinchenko isn’t that much better but he shouts a lot.

Tierney needs a move
He’d do well at a midtable club, injuries aside
