Should be like any other match or big event which holds 70,000 or whatever, and plenty of them run smoothly.

Saw loads of tweets from City fans and journalists who had to abandon taxis or buses and walk a few miles to the stadium in order to make it in time

Exactly

In Istanbul, the issue seemed to be the police forcing City fans to take buses/taxis and allowing the Inter fans use of the Metro, which is obviously a lot quicker and easier to use. The fact that the stadium is miles away from the city centre didn't help the traffic either.

From my experience in the last few years of attending 'big' football matches outside of Ireland, you are generally treated like dirt, the queues are horrendous and it is just not an enjoyable experience anymore.

This stadium is in the middle of nowhere so you would expect one or two issues getting to it, Paris and Sevilla (Rangers v Frankfurt) you would think would be better suited but those games too were a shambles. Apparently the stadium in Sevilla ran out of water before kick off.

It would honestly turn you off going to any European final going forward. Look at the shambles in the Euro 20 final in Wembley as well.

I was at Wembley for the Caraboa Cup final in Feb and was at my gate almost an hour before ko. I still didn't make kick off. It was so poorly organised

After Paris last year you would think there would have been some thought into this.
I blame Liverpool fans

Balotelli said 8 words and was still a better pundit than Micah Richards I thought

Oh and the whopper of them all Hargreaves saying if Inter won it would be the biggest upset in CL history. Gimme a f**king break. Ya little ole Inter from the Seria A backwater.

It would have been one of the biggest upsets.

Inter are a really average side, done really well getting this far! Handy draw and officials on their side in the group stages helped mind.

I was happy for Ederson in that game. Up there with the best but maybe not always mentioned as such. I'd nearly give him MOTM. City had a few shakey moments where they were nearly crumbling but Ederson was there.

He's made a few mistakes even this season but when it comes down to it, there is not and have not been too.many better
