Planning a week away at the end of November so hoping to avoid a clash. Going to book the last week and hope that this game will be in the 3rd week

Thanks for that
They finally did it man... They killed my f**kin' car...

I'd say the games will almost certainly be in the one week window before the WC starts. Romania, Slovakia and a few others have booked in games for that week.

FIFA are highly unlikely to allow games to clash with the WC, and the players wouldnt appreciate their holidays being cut short to play in early December.

No way games will clash with the World Cup. Nobody would bother going to them.

Well that's just not true, there's a lot of games at the world cup especially during the group stage that people couldn't be bothered with.

As far as I'm aware the rumour is that the squad will be going on a 2 week training camp with 2 friendly games, 1 home & 1 away

Probably a chance that the away game is more of a training match that gets streamed on YouTube. No point squeezing two games into six days when you'd want to have the group together for a training camp.

We are not allowed play during the World Cup.

Some games are arranged for November 20th so not sure how they stand given FIFA changed the date at the last minute.  Again not sure if we would be allowed play on the 20th now as we have not yet arranged a game.  There is a rugby match in the Aviva also on the 19th.

Leaving on the 21st or afterwards would be safe to avoid missing a game.

Exactly! My dream is to see Ireland play at a World Cup and there's not a hope in hell I would have been travelling to that cesspool

Few more teams have firmed up Friendlies - Bulgaria, Greece etc.

So dates seem to be that we’ll be home on the Wednesday and away on the 19th or 20th as the Rugby lads play at home in the 19th.

I would be happy with that - decent opposition and a good test. Hopefully similar enough level of opposition for the away game as well.
