The best centre back pairing and defensive midfielder in the league, I’ve been led to believe, conceding 7?

Newcastle beat Utd 5-0 in 1996 and still Uts won the league. Think Southampton or Chelsea beat them 5 or 6 the next game as well

Correct. They also lost that odd ‘40 year record’ of being unbeaten at home in European competition around that time too. Total disarray. Benefitted from a highly suspect goal to beat Arsenal in November ‘96 to end the rot.

Yep, after today 5 points between Palace in 12th and Southampton in 20th.Goal difference may be crucial in the end. I think Forest will go, but who goes with them is difficult to call. Some huge games coming up between teams facing the drop. Should be plenty of twists and turns..

Are you a Manchester United fan? Surely you'd rather see the likes of Southampton and Bournemouth relegated.
