The record in the league is 68 (I think is the number) by Dixie Dean of Everton

Yep, 1927/28 - 60 goals for Everton in 39 1st Division appearances (22 teams, 42 games, two relegated in those days).

Everton's form around that period was crazy, with Dean's goals/appearances seemingly a major factor:

1926/27  1st Divn. - 20th, Dean 21 goals in 27 games;
1927/28  1st Divn. - 1st, DD 60 goals, 39 games;
1928/29  1st Divn. - 18th, DD 26 goals, 29 games;
1929/30 -1st Divn. - 22nd, DD 23 goals, 25 games;
1930/31  2nd Divn. - 1st, DD 41 goals, 37 games;
1931/32  1st Divn. - 1st, DD 45 goals, 38 games;
1932/33  1st Divn. - 11th, DD 24 goals in 39 games.

In that last season, DD scored 5 goals in 6 FA Cup games, incl 2 in the final, where Everton beat Man City 3-0.

In all, Dean scored 350 goals in 400 league games and 33 in 33 FA Cup games for Everton, plus 18 in 16 England caps :

Trivia Bonus:
At age 32, Dean signed for Irish team Sligo Rovers in January 1939 to help the club in their FAI Cup campaign. On his arrival, the Railway station in Sligo was said to be filled with locals trying to catch a glimpse of him. Dean scored ten goals in seven games for the club, including five in a 7–1 win over Waterford (which remains a club record for the most goals scored in a single game). He also played in four Cup matches, scoring once (in the 1–1 final against Shelbourne, who won the replay 1–0). Dean's runner-up medal was later stolen from his hotel room; on a return trip to Ireland to watch Rovers 39 years later in the 1978 FAI Cup final, a package was delivered to his hotel room with the medal inside. He is considered a legend at The Showgrounds (Sligo) and is featured in the club's outdoor museum.

On the clip of it I can't see Partey anywhere near Henderson

Would be surprised if he used racist language

Definitely odd alright, modern players normally cover their mouths whenever they're talking on the pitch, Henderson obviously didn't think whatever he said was anyway worthy of hiding

Ondrej Kudela and Luis Suarez: definitely racist.
Jordan Henderson: mental gymnastics to offer every possible reason except racism for the reaction from Gabriel.

Stuff like this really is a brilliant insight into the English mind when it comes to these things. Not even saying he's guilty but there's an awful bang of closing ranks about this. "He couldn't be racist because he has black teammates" etc. Ashley Cole was John Terry's teammate. So what!
