Paid €5.50 for a Murphys in the Liberties on Saturday. Nearly double the price for a drink 20mins walk away!!

Do you like the Murphys?  I had a few pints of it a while back.  Tasted like burnt cold coffee.
Was funny as the previous time I had it in 2013 in Corcaigh iI recalled it tasted sweeter than Guinness and thought it was jovely jubbly.

I am not saying you do it without planning permission ffs.  It has been done and can be done.  There are schools in the city centre or close to the city centre.

Got a Dominos pizza last weekend.
Usually get a meal deal type that used to be €24 there or there abouts. There's now a €4 delivery charge, but the whole lot came to 40 quid. Used to be the cheaper option for take aways.

Also got a 2l bottle of sprite zero and it was €3.25. 15c for the bottle deposit, but don't remember it being over €3

I don think I have ever in my life ordered a pizza for delivery.

The wife would make home made pizzas a lot with 00 flour - and each large pizza would usually come out at about 2e each.

dominos , Apache and the likes are pure muck. You can get proper pizzas that aren't from the chains that are far nicer and often cheaper

I like sano in town and ranelagh. Eating in is very reasonable, proper naples woodfire pizza from a tenner.

They also vacuum pack a Margherita or diavola €5 and €6 respectively. Cool in five minutes at home and can be frozen.

Excellent quality and value.

Only had a couple over the years and they have been fairly poor... The only two things I have missed since moving home has been the scarcity of good gigs nearby and the quality of chippers. It's one thing Dublin does better than anywhere else! Speaking of cost of living though, up in the sisters in stillorgan recently and the price of the chipper was extortionate. Something like 8.50 for a taco chip!!

Borza has always done a decent Pizza, handmaid with fresh ingredients and into a proper Pizza oven. Only a tenner or so too.
