Still have our old one down the shed for emergencies, it was an absolute lifesaver when the central heating pump went during the bad snow a few years ago.

The thing must be at least 40 years old at this stage, was the great grannies and shes been dead since mid 80s. Will prob still be going well after Im gone too.

Yeah the big boxy lads. They can’t die.

I bought one from calor only last week. €120 bob and a tenner off a canister of butane. Looks grand too but who gives a f**k how they look. Just there for the heat Clap

Not all rosy in silicon docks this past year.
https://www.rte.ie/news/primetime/2024/0220/1433359-what-next-commercial-property/

"But more recently, the frenzied investment and building has stalled. Last year, in particular, was a year to forget for commercial property in Ireland.

Offices are lying empty. Vacancies are up, prices are down. In fact, the value of commercial property has dropped to its lowest level for over a decade and the Central Bank is monitoring the sector for a crash."

The level of jobs being lost is unsustainable, off the top of my head Microsoft, Paypal, Tiktok, Snapchat, Google, Citrix, Accenture, Ebay and workhuman have all, or are in the process of letting people go. That number of redundancies is frightening, even for a city the size of Dublin
