We have a caravan on a site in Wexford that also has mobiles and we were looking to get a mobile home this year. More so looking for second hand as didn’t wanna pay 65k for a brand new one, the rate going for brand new ones last summer. Found out now that that 65k is now 80k to get a brand new one on site. 15k extra in one year. Hands tied as that is the price of the mobile and he has to pass it on.

Really hope with China opening back up now for manufacturing we finally start to see a bit of movement in the supply chains and prices getting back to normal. It’s just out of control like in the mobile instance, the lack of steel is driving prices crazy for steel and mobiles are mainly buoy out of steel.

this is hardly cost of living crisis unless you're living in a caravan Ermm

Winalot 2.5kg for the dogs, was €4.99 for years now €8. Think it was 6.49 2 weeks ago.
Think that’s a 60%+ rise in a few months

Food shop in general has probably risen by a minimum of 50 per week

Was it not their own brand food that had that?

Ok ,at last got the tank filled so it was 1036 Lts which came in at €1125 , now i would say this should keep us going until Nov or Dec .
This year we have kept the heating at 19c now in the past it was always 20c .

I would say something like it went up 70 to 80 euro on last year for a fill .

Latest electricity bill is in at €284 so €84 after the €200 credit. Still twice what it would have been up to late 2021. How are people running up massive bills of over €1k like you see on the news?

I'm delighted I didn't switch over from oil when I upgraded the boiler in 2018. €300ish for 500l has been enough per year since we moved in. Haven't had a fill in about 18-24 months at this stage.

moretti had been around for yonks as has peroni at least in the uk

The fact that it has made it to Ireland is to be welcomed given the alternative was dishwater henekin or cats piss calsberg

Both overrated muck in my opinion. Can't drink more than 2 without feeling full and gassy.

Pub near me doing San Miguel on draft at €6.80 a pint.....you'd want to be off your box to drink that piss. Quality of lager type beers in mainstream pubs here is shockingly bad.

Lager by and large tastes similar. No mad difference between the likes of Heineken/Coors and Moretti/Peroni. Hop House is one of the few that there's a good bit of difference in taste

Moretti is absolute piss, tastes too sweet and is mad expensive. I remember a time when I thought people would take to streets French style when the price of a pint went over 5.

The casual nature of boozers charging 8e and over for a pint.
