Andy Smith.

After 31 goals in 64 league games for Glentoran, he got a move to PNE. They soon lent him out to Stockport, Motherwell and Cheltenham, before signing permanently for Bristol City. In all, he played 34 league games during this time, without scoring even a single goal.

During this time he played 18 times for NI, again without ever scoring, though tbf, tthis was mostly under Sammy McIlroy, under whom Messi or Ronaldo would have struggled to get on the scoresheet.

made his name in 1997 for chesterfield in an FA cup game live on bbc. i remember watching it and the random sh*te talk before the game that the cathedral in the city had a crooked spire. don't know why that random trivia from that day stuck in my head LOL

they were playing bolton who were a premier league side at the time. he had an incredible game, scored a hattrick and to nobody's surprise signed for southampton on the back of that performance (and chesterfields cup run to the semi final) at the end of the season.

Was in Chesterfield back in the 90s. Wouldnt be exactly be a lively spot.  Granard on a Sat night is better.

There's a new poster with the same username as you, except without the underscore, and it keeps throwing me off. I was thinking you had stuck a crayon too far up your nose for a while there until I realised it was two different people.

Callum Robinson

At least he's more an attacker/winger than striker though
