I think Ukraine exporting electricity again is a clear cut sign Russia physically don't have the missile capability to destroy their power infrastructure without going nuclear. Nobody will fear Russia next winter when Ukraine will have a far more robust air defence system.

Last week Russia took over the leadership of the United Nations Security Council, this evening Russian soldiers live streamed themselves decapitating a Ukrainian POW.
There's likely to be a response and it will probably come in the form of even more sophisticated weaponry from the west.

The Pentagon leaks has created an interesting situation whereby some Republicans are now applauding the leaker as some sort of patriot (they really have lost it, assuming they had anything left to lose in the first place). They have gone so far, that they are now hand-in-hand with Russia and Putin. it will be interesting to see how the 'Free Assange' brigade respond, as a lot of information out there about the leaker would suggest that he doesn't align with their worldview, and also that the actions may well have been an act of bravado that has gone viral, rather than any sort of political act.

Zero evidence that the drone attack was carried out by Ukraine. More likely it is just directly out of the Milosevic playbook to rally support as society grows weary of Russian failures, and create a false reasoning to take offensive action against Ukraine.

The fact they went all out blaming Washington proves it.
They know they're lying, Washington knows they're lying. Moscow knows Washington knows they're lying. Behind the scenes there's no doubt or tension as they all know. It's a publicity stunt to rally Russian support, give an excuse why they can't host large victory day parades and then justify terrorist strikes on Ukraine.

After a failed winter offensive in Bakhmut, it looks likely the Russians are about to suffer a humiliation there. Counter offensive last summer was a success and Ukraine now has a 12 month build up of mew advanced weapons and additional soldiers trained.

Ukraine have paid a heavy price. 7 Ukrainian soldiers are dead for every 1 Russian according to the documents that were leaked in the US. It will be interesting to see what comes of this summer offensive but I wouldn't be optimistic for Ukraine.
