Hopefully the speculation about a full house is correct. FAI should sell these tickets as part of new season tickets and any leftovers go on public sale. Would be a huge financial boost and would ensure a fairly full stadium going forward.
Agree with that
The new ST is for the calendar year of 2022. This game is in just over 3 weeks. The only thing there should be is a presale for ST holders etc as soon as capacity is determined giving a 48 hour window to buy your ticket before a general sale.

Wouldn't take much to add on this game and the ticket to cover you until end of 2022. Would be a serious boost to the coffers and would weed out a lot of the Ronaldo fan boys.

They'd sell far more season tickets between end of November and the next home game than they would in the next 3 weeks.

Jesus I dunno, if Portugal game was included there'd be plenty of people buying season tickets who wouldn't normally buy them I reckon. Could pause season ticket sales a week before the game and put Portugal on general sale. Then have a cheaper season ticket after the Portugal game, seems like a no brainer to me Geek

And plenty of those people who would buy them wouldn't turn up to another game and we've a bunch of empty seats when tickets could have gone on sale for other games.
All because a few people would pay whatever it takes to see Ronaldo and the lads play.

Nah 19/20 season ticket holders pre sale and then general sale is the proper way to do it.

Could be totally wrong here but doesn’t it make more sense for the FAI financially to have a sell out crowd of 52k paying for full price tickets than selling it as part of a season ticket. Doubt many extras would buy a season ticket for a game that mightn’t even feature Ronaldo.

You don't have to make it part of the season ticket

Just do a 3 day promotion after pre sale. Buy a 2022 ST and you have access to buy a ticket for the Portugal game. Simple.
They finally did it man... They killed my f**kin' car...

Full details to come but you'd assume initially 1 per season ticket on account same as the other games

The other side of that is that you'd sell more ST's by including it.

When they say pre sale for existing season ticket holders I take it that is the 2019/2020 season ticket holders? All over the shop with this COVID-19 mess.
