He is a similar type of player to Sesko who United were interested in, and is probably more easily obtainable given he isnt tied up in the Red Bull shenanigans.

I expect that he will end up there. The only question is when.

Who'd have thought when Keane hung up his boots we' have another 18 year old goal scorer so soon after. Possible Fa Cup final and very likely European football next year.
It would damage this forums' reputation

Can see a load of clubs firing off a  few bids this summer. Lets hope Inter Milan dont buy him.

The boy needs to be settled for another while. One more season at Brighton and hopefully he backs this up and then move on to a better side. Could see him moving to Germany. Dortmund maybe.

I hope he stays another 3 seasons. He had other clubs he could have joined but he choose Brighton as he felt he'd have a better chance of a break through, which has proven correct. I doubt he'd have any intention of leaving even if some of the big clubs came knocking in the Summer.

Yeah, if he moves now, he won't get enough minutes at a top 6 club to develop fully. Better off moving when he is 21/22 imo.

Safer just staying at Brighton for life in case it doesn’t work out at a big club! Rooney should have stayed at Everton too.

My 12yo informs me Evan was an LFC fan growing up!

Well, Caoimhin Kelleher was a diehard United fan growing up who celebrated Gerrard’s slip with glee and 3 yrs later was lining out under him. Football loyalties as a kid tend to go out the window for most professionals.

He would be first choice if he moved to United next season. Ten Hag has a great track record of developing young players. It's the best place for him.

He's also not managed a club with same expectations and pressures as United. If, hypothetically, they bought Ferguson in the summer and he only had 5/6 goals by Christmas, there'd be clamour to get a new striker in.

I think in this social media age it'd be a huge risk, the way players at big clubs get memed and abused these days is ridiculous. Look what they did to Harry Maguire! He should wait a couple of years and cut his teeth at a club with less pressure.

what constitutes as enough minutes? hes a rotation player for brighton atm. it'd be mental for any top 6 club to be bringing him in right now as a starter. look at how pep has developed someone like foden. if he was to move to say a united , youd hope they'd sign a first team option ahead of him then give him rotation minutes.

No feck that attitude, we need produce players who embrace pressure, thrive under pressure and who back themselves and push themselves. Can’t compare him to Maguire. But look at Haaland, 6 months of form in Austria and backed himself to do it at Dortmund. No waiting around. Robbie Keane same, off to Inter when opportunity arose, didn’t work but he had balls to give it a go.

He starts more often than not for Brighton. He is a starter there.

And Ronaldo/Messi/Mbappe were first choice players from teenage years. Obviously not saying he will be as good as them, but just because Guardiola developed Foden in a particular way doesnt mean a thing.

If the player is good enough, he's old enough.
