What's his contract situation at Brighton? Bar Broja don't think they've a young striker with good potential. Chelsea have brought in a few young players this summer for the future and Potter knows Ferguson. Might tell Chelsea chance getting Ferguson in if they're looking for young strikers given he knows him well.

Playing for Brighton
Ferguson- No 9
Moran- No 10
Furlong- No 3

Also for Leicester Flynn - No 3

Three lovely goals by Ferguson.
Makes it look very easy.

There's more to it than just the playing of matches - there's a new squad to get to know, new living arrangements etc.
Another season with the now U21 PL2, and some senior cup appearances (along with whatever he plays for Ireland) would be grand.

18 next month. Whats there to gain in his development by holding him back for another year playing at a level hes clearly too good for?

Unless they can find a suitable loan move for him, there's absolutely no point in sending him out either. Loans are not unanimously beneficial, in fact a bad one could be extremely detrimental to his development.
We're decent enough..

Another senior goal for Ferguson before his 18th bday, he scores against Gillingham who are playing a fairly strong side with 3 of there regular back 4 starting and who also have Irish international Shaun Williams in midfield.

Can we really call that a senior goal . It’s not for the senior side although against a senior side

Why not though it was against a League team playing a full team with a full international on the putch. It's actually more impressive he scored a goal for a u21 team against a Senior team imo. What a header it was too

"You will not see a better header in the Papa Johns trophy this week"
Classic English understatement by the end of the commentator's quote.

Lovely cross for that goal.

Good pizza skill to win the header, would have sliced it wide if he went for the overhead

If he scores against Norway or Malta, he'll break Robbie Keane's record for the youngest goalscorer for the senior men's team.

And Robbie's record was against Malta. Can already see the Robbie Keane 2.0 headlines if Ferguson scores against Malta.

If he scores.... he can be the new Troy Parrott build them up and kick them down rollercoaster. Previous guest riders Seanie Maguire, Scott Hogan, James McClean and James McCarthy.
It would damage this forums' reputation
