A lot is gonna depend on whether this Portugal side have one big performance in them or not. They've been very underwhelming for the first two games but they certainly have the players to pull something out of the bag tonight.
Although I reckon it's more likely they continue as they have done and exit with a bit of a whimper.

I think France will want a good performance after drawing with Hungary. Therefore I think they will go for the win.

That's probably the most likely outcome tonight.

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

One other thing I'll say, if the 3rd place teams come from Groups A C D F (Which I believe is the most likely)
Then England's run Last 16 aside is quite favourable This is based on Sweden topping Group E and my a fore mentioned result in Group F Last 16- France QF- Sweden/Ukraine SF- Netherlands/Czech R/Denmark/Wales

I can actually see Germany winning and Portugal v France finishing 1-1 which would put Germany top, France 2nd and Portugal 3rd

Ah I thought the group winners of England's group would play the 3rd place of France's group and the runners up in each other's groups would play each other?
Don't know how I got that wrong

There's a real chance of it happening IMO as i think France will beat Portugal to top the group on 7 points and Germany will finish 2nd

Not a hope of England playing Germany.
Germany will beat Hungary 2-0 I'd say. Have a feeling Hungary will have a bit of a drop off in energy tonight so can't see them holding Germany to a draw. |
