I was listening to this on the radio earlier. Seems these little feckers are rampant throughout the country now. I've seen a good few of them since I moved out to Wicklow 3 years ago.

Probably one of the f**kers that got me last year. 

Slept on the sofa and woke up with two bites on my hand  that were very itchy as f**k. 

Day or so later me hand had swelled up completely and there were two red lines on my skin running up my arm.
Went to swiftcare they got diagnosed as cellulitis and needed antibiotics.

I’ve seen a few of these in my polytunnels at the allotment, mind you, get a lot of spiders all sizes in there, the little buggers love the dry heat
