What we’d do for a Maddison Ward Prowse or Watkins at the minute
Easy Kenny would play them as a back 3 and pass it side to side for 90 minutes Wink

I reckon TAA will only be used when they need a goal and are throwing the kitchen sink at teams. Let him out wide and ping balls in for Kane/DCL/Maguire to get their head on. When it's ball on the deck time, it'll be Walker that's playing.

Agree with that. Walker will be first choice but TAA is excellent at crosses and finding forward runs.

Trippier taking the place of an attacker makes no sense.

That French side playing against Wales is absolutely eye-watering, and it doesn't even have Kante in it!

When the Dutch are getting beat by Scotland I'm so glad I put that 11/2 on Austria winning their group - I know it's a friendly nd all that but De Boer is some next level spoofer.

The loss of Van Dijk is also a huge blow for them.

Always liked the Dutch and would like to see them and Croatia do well in the tournament.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Trent Alexander-Arnold off injured while making a clearance with nobody near him. Had to be helped round the perimeter of the pitch to the dugout by the medical staff.

His body language was that of someone who believes he's out of the Euros.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.

Always thought he was a great player, but I lost a lot of respect for him after reading Robert Enke's book

From what I know fans of the 2 clubs in Liverpool would prefer if none of their players were in the england squad or any of the competing squads.

Martinez saying KDB out of the match against Russia at least but he's still staying with the squad for the moment
Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".

Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn

Italy have the won award for the most bizarre squad announcement ever.

It needed a 2 hour show which consisted of concerts, quizzes, players having rap battles and Mancini playing tennis with a frying pan

I'd understand the enthusiasm.. maybe.. if they were favourites but even then it's going a bit too far.

That's brilliant, the singing of the national anthem reminded me of something like We are the World LOL
