Out of the decisions that Kenny and staff made this week that I didn't agree with, I think changing from the back 5 that finished the Portugal game versus Azerbaijan was the biggest one which had a number of knock-on effects which in hindsight ended up being negative. We diminished Coleman's influence, we had him maybe acting as a RB and not closing and diving in on his marker on the ball which allowed him to get a shot away for the goal (which is ok if trying to prevent a cross from the wing but outside the box in the centre, you need to close down your man, in fairness, it was a unstoppable strike into the side net), we took Doherty out of a position he did so well in as LWB and we played McClean who despite his effort it wasn't one of this better games.

Hindsight is always a great thing though

Glides over the ground. Looks like a young Paul McGrath. He could end up in Midfield yet. What a prospect

“He's also the 36th Irish teenage player to start at least one game in the PL”

Any chance of making this into a quiz? Name the 36 players.

Would be interesting to see who the disputed nationality players are. I know the Premier League considered Liam Daish to be Scottish and Mike Milligan to be English at one point even though they both won senior caps for Ireland and nobody else.

I'll get started with perhaps the most obscure one.

Rory Ginty for Crystal Palace.

One of the few Galwegians to play in the PL.

Reece Grego-Cox is another fairly obscure one. Started for QPR in the PL when he was 18.
